kimono greeting cards
For centuries, the kimono has been worn by Japanese men and women. It evokes a sense of timeless beauty, elegance, sensuality and mystery to the Western world. kimono designs, located in Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada), creates unique designer greeting cards inspired by the Japanese kimono. Our kimono cards, designed, printed and assembled in Canada, are available either individually or in sets, offering a contemporary interpretation of the traditional kimono.
The front and back panels of the cards are die-cut in the kimono shape, showing original, full-colour designs. Each card contains a blank coloured paper insert tied to the fold with a gold thread. A small folding tab, showing the artist's chop and signature, joins the front and back panels, and a 5" x 5" (12.7 cm x 12.7 cm) white envelope accompanies each card.
Currently, we carry three kimono card sets. A set comprises four (4) or five (5) different cards displayed in a holder with tie showing the kimono designs logo imprinted in gold leaf on black textured stock. Each card or set is packaged in a clear cellophane sleeve.
The sample below shows an individual card, as well as front and back views of a 4-card set in a holder.
