The kimono has been worn for centuries by Japanese men and women. It evokes a sense of timeless beauty, elegance, sensuality and mystery to the Western world.

Our small company, kimono designs, located in Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada), creates unique designer greeting cards and frames inspired by the Japanese kimono.

Our designer, desean, is a visual artist who has exhibited masks and ink drawings in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia since 1980. He has also written, illustrated and designed two handmade limited edition books of poetry and a series of Japanese-style flutterbooks. For the past fifteen years, he has focused on digital media: virtual reality panoramas, graphic design, Web site design and responsive multimedia installations. In 2001, he organized a pan-Canadian online exhibition, interfaces, on the theme of the mask.
